I am trying to add more links to my side bar, if you drop by here and want me to add you, just drop me a note. If you see your link here and it bugs the crap out of you, let me know, I will make sure I remove it (haha) no really, I will.

I am a nite cricket, I chirp in the nite and do my best writing in the evening, so if you see the posts at 3 or 5 am know that I am just getting creative.

Some weekends I can barely find my favorite band (ahem Tommy); this weekend, I think someone would need serious planning to enjoy all that is happening. Last night for kicks and grins, I decided to map out the cool happenings we have around us this ONLY weekend.

I would start out at 730 am to line up for the 500,002 car through the gate at MacDill for the Air Fest, as the cars started moving by 930 am thru the security gates a couple of flybys would occur, which would get me all excited. Around 11 am I would dart out the gate as 785,000 folks are trying to get in the gate. I would make it to St. Petersburg around 115 pm because you know it's only about 40 minute ride on a good day, this day, 2 hours and 15 minutes... I would head out to the Grand Prix, never get close to the track or the festivities, but I would do a huge U turn and head for Ybor to catch the Italian Fest. Around 3 pm I would make my way to Ybor and find not one parking spot near the place, but several streets away, I would find a safe spot to park. Just as I get out of the car, the homeless guy says hey pay me 20 bucks and I will make sure you car stays parked here. Hmm comforting, isn't it?

I get back in said car and head to PASCO County for the Chasta Fiesta. As I hit 75 (not the speed, the road) I find traffic is at a stand still. So I will take a short cut. I dive back down 275 and head to Tarpon Springs. (I bet you think I own stock in a gas company) I want to see the sponge docks...you know the Highland games are going on in Dunedin, do you think I can catch any of them?

By the time all this is said and done, what do you really think I saw and enjoyed? If anyone guessed I ate in Tarpon Springs at an art show display you were right, no more callers please.

I am just not sure how much more fun I can have tomorrow. Rinse and Repeat.

Why is EVERYTHING planned for this ONE particular weekend? Can you tell me that?
If anyone needs me, I will be in Disney World because I am sure NO one is going there...

Last night after tucking away another chapter in my novel, I turned on the tv to see kids being interviewed after catching a would be pervert. The story really brought joy to me. Kids really stepping up and knowing what to do in a crisis. Instead of losing 7 victims to a sexual deviant, we have survivors at their fittest.

White male approaches 7 kids on playground in broad day light. He trys to entice them into his world of disgust, and they fight him off. One girl beats him in the head as he is trying to get her little sister. Then, the team of kids chase him down as he runs. 30 kids swarm him and parents join in the chase. They hold him until the police arrive.

Now in the news they will say this could be dangerous and all that. He could have had a gun, knife or whatever. I say kids be careful, but FIGHT BACK. If you go you are never coming back. Perverts take victims, seldom do they return victims.

On a side note, I got this visual of a pack of kids armed with sticks, and rocks and backpacks charging up the hill with the bad guy. Who needs karate when you have a playground posse'.

Last night as I read 3 millions blogs, and 100 newspapers, I kept thinking there has to be some mistake. Joe Redner got so close, and yet so far. Gwen is a silent commissioner, or at least an inaudible one.

So it's business as usual for the City of Tampa... What a shame, I was really looking forward to seeing the Commissh at Mon's for a retreat. Imagine how that would have been.

Maybe next time Mr. R.

The transgender topic is not going away. The City of Non-Progress has laid down the gauntlet. I suspect lawsuits will be filed. How silly of a commissioner to say, I voted to fire him, but I hope we are still friends. Can you say NOT on your life?

Joe Redner and Gwen whispers way too softly Miller takes front stage for a run off. That really cracks me up. Could it be Tampa will vote for the one they can understand better? I can barely understand a single word Gwen says.

By the way, who opened up the highway to allow so many visitors in. It took me an hour to drive 30 miles on the interstate today. I played tag bingo and I think last count I had 17 original tags. That didn't include the multiples of the same state driving slow in the fast lane.

What is going on with Tampa?????

Work took me away for Spring Break and now I am back. I am well rested but this sleeping schedule is nuts. For a vacation treat we went on a team building exercise for work that took me to California with the fruits and nuts of the world. I didn't really mind too much because I am a little fruity and nutty in a good way. If I were a candy bar, I would have the innards of a 3 musketeer bar with a hint of cherry flavor, with a nice kiwi fruit taste...

So I am back and going to work full steam ahead to get my blog hopping... Did anything fun happen while I was gone?

Wow I went to the little restaurant called Snellgroves in Plant City (downtown area) and what a treat. I just love homey little places with homey prices. The flavor of the steak was awesome. For a 9.99 price tag it was really overwhelmingly good. Last week a guy and I ate at RC in Tampa and it was blah tasting. No flavor, something was lacking.

Check out this place it was really good and soooo cool.

This morning I am happy to report the green ick has left the building. I am able to be free of the green. Which is a great relief thank you very much. My tongue looked like a frog had descended upon it.

I wonder what it would be like to spend St Patricks Day in Ireland? Maybe I should plan for that.

Today will be fun filled with a trip to the carwash and shopping for household items to store some of my things away nicely at the storage garage. I wonder if anyone would notice my carefully wrapped James Dean Mannequin ???

Did you have enough green beer to make you sick? Or how about drink enough green anything to make you pee green? That is really scary. After about 2 or 15 Emerald City Martini's the girls in the group were secretly calling the GYNO for HELP I am peeing green and I can't stop...

Today marks a drunk fest to beat all drunk fests. I partied at O'Keefes in Clearwater. Long day and long parting, but we did it in style. All green, no dui's and everyone went home in the same panties they started out with.

Bringing in another St Patty's Day was a real treat for us. We are the Shamrock sisters on March 17th!

If you just stumbled on to my blog you will note I haven't had a chance to get caught up. I have been cleaning out a lot of things in my little world.

One area that I have cleaned out is my closet. No. Seriously. My clothes closet it so full I could literally clothe about 6 women. Too much and I am not wearing a tenth of it.

As I prepare for a huge chapter in my life I am just trying to get all my things in order. Stick around I have a lot of fun things to talk about.

I am adding the cool kids in Tampa Blog world and I am hoping to get a huge list of blogs that I visit regularly. I may not agree with the content, but I agree with the right to have a blog.
